Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies for Improvements to Glendale and Liberty Community Centers
On Thursday, April 21st at 1:00 pm the Walton County Board of County Commissioners (WCBCC) will be hosting a Ribbon Cutting for Glendale Community Center, located at 147 Railroad Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, followed by a Ribbon Cutting for Liberty Community Center at 2:00 pm, located at 1511 County Highway 1084, DeFuniak Springs.

Accepting Applications: Library Advisory Board Position District Four
The Walton County Board of County Commissioners is accepting applications for volunteers to serve on the Library Advisory Board. The Library Advisory Board has an opening for their volunteer District 4 position.

Western Lake Drainage Improvements Phase III – San Juan Avenue
Work will begin in late April 2022 to install a new drainage box culvert under San Juan Avenue between CR 30A and Shady Pines Dr. The project is intended to improve drainage and water quality.
