Walton County issued the following announcement on March 1.
The Walton County Planning Department invites you to one or more of the following workshops to discuss proposed changes to the Land Development Code related to tree protection and preservation requirements. All workshops will be similar in format, regardless of location, and the public is encouraged to provide input at one or more workshop event locations. The various locations are provided for your convenience.
Your input is important and will help the county ensure that the Land Development Code continues to both serve the needs of all county citizens and protect the environment while also providing a high-quality built environment.
