Former Congressman Matt Gaetz, an active figure on social media, recently shared a series of posts that reflect his engagement with international and domestic issues. Gaetz, who has represented Florida's 1st district in the U.S. Congress since 2017, took to Twitter to share recommendations, insights into global politics, and views on international events.

On April 16, 2025, Gaetz addressed a fellow politician on social media, suggesting dining options in El Salvador. He tweeted: "Enjoy El Salvador, Senator. HMU if you need recommendations on where to get the best pupusas." This post suggests Gaetz's familiarity with the local cuisine and conveys a light-hearted tone in his interaction.

Later that day, Gaetz turned his focus to foreign policy by tweeting on the subject of China. On April 16, he wrote: "The truth about China " followed by a link, hinting at further detailed information that his followers could explore. This demonstrates Gaetz's interest in sharing his perspective on significant international issues.

In the early hours of April 17, Gaetz commented on the situation in Brazil, describing recent developments as striking. He stated: "What is happening Brazil is insane", accompanied by a link that presumably leads to more content or analysis on the situation. This underscores his continued awareness and responsiveness to international affairs.

Matt Gaetz, born in Hollywood, Florida in 1982, has built a significant career in public service. Educated at Florida State University and the College of William & Mary, Gaetz has resided in Niceville, Florida. Since replacing Jeff Miller in 2017, Gaetz has been a vocal participant in Congress and on social media, where he often shares political insights and engages with his audience.
