Walton County recently issued the following announcement.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

Pursuant to section 286.011, Florida Statutes, notice is hereby given that the Choctawhatchee Bay Estuary Coalition Board will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 beginning at 9:30 a.m., Central Time.  The meeting will be conducted in person at the Washington County Commission Board Room, Government Annex Building, 1331 South Boulevard, Chipley, Florida.  This meeting will also be available via communications media technology (teleconference/video conference).  Interested persons may participate either in person or by the internet and telephone via the following:

The proceedings of the meeting will correspond to the agenda for this scheduled general meeting. 

If any person decides to appeal any decision made with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, such person will need a record of the proceeding and may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. 

Okaloosa County adheres to the American Disabilities Act and will make reasonable modifications for access to these hearings upon request. Requests may be made to the County Commission office described above and must be made at least 48 hours in advance of the hearing in order to provide the requested service.
