Waste Management will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 24th; therefore, there will be no garbage collection that day. Regular garbage collection will resume Friday, November 25th. The collection schedule for residential and commercial customers is as follows:
Commercial Businesses:
- Thursday customers will be serviced either Wednesday or Friday
- Friday customers will be serviced either Friday or Saturday
Residential:
- Thursday twice/week household trash will not be made up. You will receive service on your next scheduled service day.
- Thursday once/week yard waste will be serviced on Friday. Friday once/week Yard Waste will be serviced on Saturday.
Walton County Landfill Schedule:
The Walton County Landfill will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 24th. Although Friday, November 25th is a County Holiday, the Landfill will be open with limited staff for WM trucks to deliver garbage but will be closed to the public. The Landfill will resume full operations on Saturday, November 26th.
