City of Destin issued the following announcement on Dec. 1.
This year, spend a lovely holiday evening with Santa at the Destin Library on Wednesday, December 15th from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. The Christmas tree will be twinkling and under it,
bundles of ribbon-wrapped picture books for children to check out with their library card. There will also be crafts to make and a take-home treat bag. And, of course, a special visit
with Santa Claus!
Please register for this event to ensure there are enough treats for everyone. To register, go to the Okaloosa County Library Cooperative’s event calendar at
okaloosa.librarycalendar.com, click on the “A Visit with Santa at the Destin Library” event, and fill out the short registration form under the event details. You can also contact the
