City of Fort Walton Beach recently issued the following announcement.
The holidays are just around the corner and the Fort Walton Beach Firefighters are helping Santa again this year. We could also use help from our amazing local citizens and
friends. This year we are excited because we will not only be having 2 "Santa's Firehouse Cruz-Thru Toy Drives," we will also have several toy donation boxes located at select
local businesses around the Fort Walton Beach area!
We invite everyone to load their vehicles with new unwrapped toys on December 11th and 18th from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. (children's clothing, wrapping paper, tape, bows or anything to
help a child in need) and drive on down to Fort Walton Beach Fire Station 6 located at 5 Hollywood Blvd NE. You will be able to drive through the truck garage where we keep
Engine 6 and Truck 6 and deliver your toys. Your favorite firefighters will be waiting to accept all gifts, and you will receive a few goodies, too!
