City of Destin recently issued the following announcement.
Come to the Destin Library on Tuesday, August 24, at 6:00 p.m. for a free Parent-Teacher Workshop focusing on reading and spelling led by Children’s Librarian, Laura Harris. Some children are strong spellers but struggle with reading, or the opposite, great reading ability but struggle with spelling. Parents, teachers, and caregivers are invited to our informal workshop to help you understand your child’s learning curve during early reading and spelling and get tips on how the two intersect in the learning process.
