City of DeFuniak Springs issued the following announcement.
This page is designed to inform local citizens in DeFuniak Springs, FL of ways the City is celebrating and engaging in Florida's annual City Government Week observance October 19-23, 2020. This annual observance is orchestrated by the Florida League of Cities.
Since COVID makes in-person presentations and events challenging, the City is relying primarily on on-line presentations through Facebook, YouTube and live streaming video. See below for schedule of activities in DeFuniak Springs, FL and how you can engage.

The DeFuniak Springs Public Works Department has been fully engaged in upgrading the remarkable, annual Christmas light show held annually in our historic district. Find out what's new and how your next visit will be impacted. You might even learn something new about your own holiday decorations by watching this short video.
- Florida League of Cities VIDEO: "City Government 101" trivia questions. Watch this Florida League of Cities video and and out how much you know about how your local government works by visiting the City's Facebook page and answering trivia questions of the day.
