Walton County Extends Application Deadline for Assistance to Nonprofits

The Walton County Board of County Commissioners recognizes not for profit organizations play an important role in our community.

As a part of the budget process, the Board of County Commissioners has allocated $20,000 toward an opportunity for assistance to nonprofits. Walton County is committed to providing financial assistance to those nonprofit agencies which assist the County in carrying out its vision to “be THE premier County in which to live, visit, work and play” and mission “to efficiently and effectively serve the citizens of Walton County by providing a safe community and a sustainable economy while preserving our quality of life and natural resources.” Nonprofit organizations interested in applying may visit the Finance Department webpage to learn more about eligibility and to download an application. Applications will be accepted through January 31, 2023, at 5 pm. For more information contact the Walton County Office of Management and Budget at (850)892-8470.
