UF/IFAS Santa Rosa County Extension (UF/IFAS SRC) is hosting a decorative wreath-making workshop from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Sat., June 11 at UF/IFAS SRC, 6263 Dogwood Drive in Milton. 

This hands-on workshop covers the basics of wreath-making. Participants will create a patriotic wreath and will be able to use new skills to make wreaths for every season. Participants may bring their own embellishments or choose from available selection.

Workshop provided by Santa Rosa County Home & Community Educators, an active volunteer organization working with the University of Florida Extension.

A Walton County Grand Jury has indicted Dr. Thomas Shaknovsky for second-degree manslaughter after a surgical error led to an Alabama man’s death in August 2024. Authorities say Shaknovsky mistakenly removed a patient’s liver instead of his spleen during surgery.
