Representative Matt Gaetz, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 1st district since 2017, shared several statements on social media recently. Known for his outspoken views, Gaetz has been an active political figure since serving in the Florida House of Representatives from 2010 to 2016.

On February 21, 2025, Gaetz commented on a past interaction involving a personal anecdote with humor. He stated: "Spoiler alert: We were not adversaries. He’s just trying to get Hollywood attention (but not just with the steroids). I remember the time his mom (who is wonderful) wouldn’t let me read the Ken Starr Report in 1998 in the NHS computer lab because….(you know)".

Later that day, Gaetz expressed support for a controversial concept with brevity and endorsement by stating: "This is some Replacement Theory I can really get behind."

In another post made on February 21, Gaetz took a firm stance on immigration issues affecting Florida. He tweeted: "Not undocumented. Illegal. They were illegal aliens poisoning my beloved Florida. Deportation to Jamaica is too good for them. Send them to Haiti."
