77.9% of Santa Rosa County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 184,345 citizens living in Santa Rosa County in 2021, 77.9% were old enough to vote, equating to 143,571 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 73,470 were male, constituting 51.2%, and 70,101 were female, making up 48.8%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Santa Rosa County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 80%.
