"Our top priority is the animals in our care," said Randy Lambert, animal services chief. "After much research, we found that Wednesday night is a better day to be open late. We believe this time will better accommodate visitors to the shelter and help us increase adoptions/fosters as well as the services we provide to the community."
Santa Rosa County Animal Services' mission is to build a society in which every animal is treated with compassion. Animal services provides humane shelter and care for the approximately 3,500 lost, displaced and victimized animals who enter their doors every year.
