Census Bureau reports Santa Rosa County population was 179,587 in 2020

Santa Rosa County had a population of 179,587 people in 2020, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Emerald Coast Times.

The median age was 40, with 49 percent of the total population being female and 51 percent male.

The state's total population in 2020 was 21,216,924.
