Neighborhood cleanup program

Littercleanup

Santa Rosa County UF/IFAS Sea Grant Extension in partnership with Ocean Hour and Pensacola & Perdido Bays Estuary Program invites neighborhoods to participate in regular neighborhood trash removal activities.

For those interested in coordinating a continuing neighborhood clean-up, one neighborhood litter removal kit will be supplied to each neighborhood that signs up to be part of this pilot project in the local community.

To learn more, attend one of two informational meetings:

  • 4-6 p.m., Thurs., Apr. 21 at Floridatown Park, 3900 Floridatown Road in Pace
  • 4-6 p.m., Tues., Apr. 26 at Tiger Point Community Center, 1370 Tiger Park Lane in Gulf Breeze
Neighborhood clean-up kits will be on display and reusable tote bags and more will be available at the meetings. Residents are encouraged to get involved with their neighbors, scout groups, clubs or volunteer organizations to help with trash pick up to keep neighborhoods trash free.
