Okaloosa Technical College issued the following announcement on Dec. 20.
The Building Trades and Construction Design Technology program at OTC is ready to receive bids on the tiny houses!! The students completed two tiny houses under the supervision and leadership of veteran builder and instructor, Royal Preston. All bids must be sealed and received in the OTC front office with Mrs. Nystrom no later than 2:30 on Thursday, December 16, 2021. Bid packets may be picked up in the front office as well. Minimum bid is $38,600. Except for the roofs (one metal and one shingles), the tiny houses have the same floor plan (one bedroom, one bath with full kitchen). They are both 576 square feet.
