Donate to the Santa Rosa County Animal Services Partners for Pets this Giving Tuesday

8

County of Santa Rosa issued the following announcement on Nov. 24.

Santa Rosa County Animal Services is raising money for their Partners for Pets fund this Giving Tuesday, Nov. 30. This fund helps the shelter provide animals with essential food,

shelter and veterinary care (including emergency care for animals that come in with injuries).

"The shelter has made a big transformation over the past few years," said Dora Thomason, shelter director. "Our goal is to save every animal that enters our shelter, no matter how

great the need. With our new onsite surgery suite and a medical team on staff, providing timely care to sick and injured pets is more possible than ever."

With a veterinarian on staff, the shelter can provide in-house surgeries beyond spay/neuter, such as amputations and tumor removals. The Partners for Pets fund is used to help

pay for these special cases.

The shelter's goal is to raise $5,000 during Giving Tuesday to save more pets during 2022. Donate online, or mail cash or check to the shelter at 4451 Pine Forest Rd., Milton, FL

32583. All donations count to help the shelter reach their goal.
