Okaloosa County School District issued the following announcement on Oct. 18.
The Okaloosa County Middle School Championship Cross Country meet was held today, October 18th, at Twin Oaks in Niceville, Florida. The Ruckel Middle School Boys Cross Country team (pictured above) was named County Champions while the Ruckel Middle School Girls Cross Country team secured the runner-up spot. Liza Jackson Preparatory School Girls (pictured below) were named County Champions while the Liza Jackson Preparatory School Boys (pictured below) came in the runner-up spot. Congratulations to all of our schools for completing another successful Cross Country season.
