Walton County issued the following announcement on Oct. 13.
Regional Utilities will be installing an 18-inch potable water line in the area of Lakewood Drive and County Road 30A in Seagrove Beach, which will require a portion of the roadway to be closed the week of Nov.1.
The project area is located approximately 100-feet west of the intersection at CR 30A and Lakewood Drive and will require a trench across the roadway and the removal of a section of both the east and westbound lanes.
Advanced message boards will be placed throughout the area to warn motorists of the upcoming closure. Drivers are urged to use caution while traveling in the area.
