City of Fort Walton Beach issued the following announcement on Sept. 25.

Meet Jerry Gunn, public works operations manager for the city’s public works and utility services department. Jerry oversees all operations of the fleet, facilities, and sanitation divisions (approximately 34 employees). He joined the city in 1989 working on the back of a rear-loading garbage truck.
