In this role, Riley will be responsible for overseeing the University’s compliance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and other laws and rules relating to discrimination based on sex or gender. Riley held several roles in which she addressed equity and diversity issues including assistant minority outreach coordinator, director of a federal TRIO program, state representative campaign coordinator and director of corporate services/human resources for a nonprofit organization. Riley has experience organizing community outreach initiatives and compliance work.
“I look forward to taking my passion for inclusive excellence and working with students and underrepresented communities to UWF’s Office of Equity and Diversity,” said Riley.
