Walton County issued the following announcement on Aug. 27.
As you should know by now we have another storm making its way into the Gulf. At this time no SOE has been issued for Walton County but we encourage you to pay close attention and monitor the situation watchfully. If you decide to go ahead and get your items off the beach we encourage and will work with you. Remember if a SOE is issued you MUST remove your items from the beach.
