Okaloosa Capital Improvement Program Website

2

Okaloosa County School District issued the following announcement on July 27.

Okaloosa County voters approved the Half-Cent Sales Tax for Okaloosa Schools on November 3, 2020. The half-cent for schools will last for ten years and will fund many needed repairs and projects to improve aging school buildings.

Visit the Okaloosa Capital Improvement Program website to see what is happening now!

The proceeds from the half-cent sales tax are being used only as approved by the voters and as allowed by Florida law. To help the public see how these dollars are being used, the Citizens Oversight Committee hopes you will explore this website and get to know more about the improvements scheduled for every single school in the County. The information shared here is a part of our continuing commitment to transparency and accountability.
