City of DeFuniak Springs issued the following announcement.
The City of DeFuniak Springs has cancelled Marvel of Flight 2020, scheduled for March 27 & 28, due to concerns related to the Corona Virus outbreak.
“We gave this decision careful consideration,” says City Manager Mell Smigielski. “Once the president declared a national emergency, and after receiving numerous calls from concerned vendors and pilots, we decided to cancel this year’s program. We appreciate the hard work of city staff, volunteers and our sponsors to make this program our best, and we will work hard to make next year’s event even greater.”
The City of DeFuniak Springs will continue to keep citizens informed of important notifications and cancellations relating to the Corona Virus outbreak through media releases, on its website at www.defuniaksprings.net and on the City’s Facebook page.
