City of Destin issued the following announcement on Feb. 18.
The Destin Library’s seven-week Kids Classics Club continues on March 5 at 4:30 p.m. with the amazing modern classic, “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” by J. K. Rowling.
This fun Read-Aloud program is for grades 3-5. Destin Youth Services Librarian, Laura Harris, reads aloud from the story every week. Children will enjoy listening to the featured
classic with snacks and enjoy free art expression with paint or collage each week. Faithful attendees will receive a gift copy of the book at the end of the series.
