City of Destin issued the following announcement on Feb. 07.
On Wednesday, February 19th, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. the Alzheimer’s Association Brain Bus will be at Destin Library. The Brain Bus is a mobile outreach initiative that educates and raises awareness about Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementia.
This program addresses the benefits of early detection, early diagnosis, brain health and risk reduction. The Brain Bus helps normalize the disease and guides the community to reliable and useful information and resources. These services are provided at no cost to participants.
