On January 20, 2025, Gaetz tweeted about two individuals he holds in high regard. He posted “Two of the very best.”

The following day, January 21, 2025, Gaetz extended his congratulations to Secretary Rubio through another tweet. He expressed his sentiments by saying “Congrats to my former boss, Secretary Rubio!”

In a subsequent post on January 22, 2025, Gaetz reflected on an unusual experience in the Destin area where he resides. He remarked on Twitter that “I’ve lived in the Destin area for 30 years. Never seen anything like this.”
