Former Congressman Matt Gaetz, who has represented Florida’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress since 2017 after serving in the Florida House of Representatives from 2010 to 2016, recently shared a series of brief statements on social media. Gaetz, born in Hollywood, Florida in 1982 and currently residing in Niceville, holds degrees from Florida State University and the College of William & Mary.

On July 10, 2025, Gaetz posted a message containing only an emoji: “”.

The following day, July 11, 2025, he commented on Colonel Harvey with the statement: “Col Harvey is a real deep state hunter”.

On July 12, 2025, Gaetz responded to another post by stating: “She’s right”.

Matt Gaetz is currently serving as a member of the U.S. Congress for Florida’s 1st District. He succeeded Jeff Miller in this role in 2017. In addition to his congressional service, Gaetz previously served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2010 to 2016. He graduated from Florida State University with a BS degree and later earned his JD from the College of William & Mary.
