Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office investigates armed home invasion robbery near Fort Walton Beach

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office announced on Apr. 20 that it is investigating an armed home invasion robbery that took place late last night at a residence on Pilgrim Avenue near Fort Walton Beach.

Deputies responded to the scene after receiving reports of suspects inside the home. Multiple occupants were found safely, and there were no life-threatening injuries reported.

According to preliminary information from the sheriff’s office, two masked suspects entered the residence, demanded property, and fled before deputies arrived. Investigators are working to identify the suspects and collect evidence related to the incident.

The investigation remains ongoing. The sheriff’s office is asking anyone with information, surveillance footage, or who may have seen suspicious activity in the area around the time of the incident to contact them at 850-651-7400 or reach out to Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers.
