Oceans of Possibilities for Fun this Summer with the Destin Library

The Destin Library is launching a boatload of fun for the whole family with the 2022 Summer Reading Program, Oceans of Possibilities. When you take a break from reading, set sail to one of these ocean-themed adventures. 

On June 16th at 11:00 a.m., local storyteller Pat Nease presents A School of Fish Tales at the library. Pat is an award-winning storyteller known for her high energy, quick wit, and lots of humor. This presentation is sure to delight all ages as she spins tales and draws you in for fun and laughs. 

Come to An Ocean Commotion Magic Show with Mr. Larry on June 30th at 11:00 a.m. This magical program will explore several aspects of oceanography with fun, silliness, and special puppet guests. Using a variety of books, this interactive romp will engage and entertain young readers. 

The Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance presents Bay Fun on the Lawn on July 14th at 11:00 a.m. The CBA is a non-profit organization responsible for sustaining healthy local waterways. They are dedicated to educating residents about our ecosystems and what can be done to conserve and protect the environment and wildlife. 

Space is limited for these programs so registration is recommended.
