New online permitting system workshop

Santa Rosa County’s new online permitting system workshop will take place from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Wed., Apr. 27, in the Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners 

meeting room, 6495 Caroline Street in Milton. 

All contractors, developers and users are encouraged to attend. This is an interactive workshop to demonstrate the new program, MyGovernmentOnline (MGO) and assist 

contractors with setting up their respective accounts.

A Walton County Grand Jury has indicted Dr. Thomas Shaknovsky for second-degree manslaughter after a surgical error led to an Alabama man’s death in August 2024. Authorities say Shaknovsky mistakenly removed a patient’s liver instead of his spleen during surgery.
