More than 4,400 students are expected to graduate from UF this fall during the course of four commencement ceremonies held in the Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center Dec. 16-17.
The first ceremony, celebrating 200 doctoral graduates, will be held Friday, Dec. 16 at 2 p.m.
Bachelor’s, master’s and specialist’s degree graduates for the College of Health and Human Performance, College of Journalism and Communications, College of Nursing, College of Public Health and Health Professions, College of Veterinary Medicine and the Warrington College of Business will begin their ceremony at 7 p.m. on Dec. 16.
The bachelor’s, master’s and specialist’s degrees commencement ceremony for the College of Arts; College of Design, Construction and Planning; College of Education; College of Liberal Arts and Sciences; College of Medicine and College of Pharmacy will be held at 10 a.m. on Dec. 17.
Bachelor’s, master’s and specialist’s degree graduates for the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences and the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering will begin their ceremony at 3 p.m. on Dec. 17.
This fall’s graduates hail from six continents, representing 73 countries and 46 states.
The faculty speaker at all three bachelor’s and master’s ceremonies is UF President Kent Fuchs. The faculty speaker for the doctoral ceremony is Brian Ray, director of UF’s Poe Business Ethics Center and master lecturer of leadership and ethics in the Warrington College of Business.
