Blaine Searcy, the owner of Massage Therapy by Blaine in Miramar Beach, was arrested on April 28 after a victim reported being inappropriately touched during a massage. The Walton County Sheriff’s Office said Searcy faces criminal charges for the second time following an incident that occurred on April 20.

According to investigators, the victim stated that Searcy provided only two small towels for coverage and repeatedly touched her breasts during the session. The victim also reported that Searcy made sexual comments and jokes. After the massage, he allegedly told her his license was suspended and instructed her to tell others that someone named “Chris” performed the massage.

The investigation confirmed that Searcy’s license had been suspended by emergency order from the Florida Department of Health on January 21, following a complaint about unorthodox practices and sexual misconduct during a massage in October of the previous year. That earlier incident was not reported to law enforcement at the time.

Searcy had previously been arrested by deputies in December 2023 for battery related to another similar incident at his business. He is now charged with battery and misrepresenting himself as a licensed massage therapist.

“Massage therapy puts patients in isolated, vulnerable settings where they can be exposed to abuse by a massage therapist with ill intentions,” said Sheriff Michael Adkinson. “Searcy abused his position as a massage therapist to sexually violate his patients on multiple occasions. Now, he is facing the consequences.”

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office commended victims who have come forward and encouraged anyone else who may have experienced similar incidents involving Searcy to contact their office or provide information anonymously through Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers.
