Matt Gaetz represented Florida’s 1st congressional district in the U.S. Congress beginning in 2017 after succeeding Jeff Miller. Prior to his tenure in Congress, Gaetz served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2010 to 2016. Born in Hollywood, Florida in 1982 and currently residing in Niceville, Gaetz holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University and a Juris Doctor from the College of William & Mary.
