In another post dated July 4, 2025, Gaetz highlighted comments from SEC Chairman Atkins regarding innovation and regulation. He quoted Atkins’ view that “Tokenization is innovation. It will be nurtured, not crushed by government.” Additionally, he mentioned that “regulation through enforcement” is no longer a practice. Gaetz described this development as a “massive GREEN LIGHT for America to own the economy of the future.”

Matt Gaetz was born in Hollywood, Florida in 1982 and currently resides in Niceville. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University and later received a Juris Doctor degree from the College of William & Mary.
