Former Congressman Matt Gaetz, who has been serving Florida’s 1st District in the U.S. Congress since 2017, shared a series of tweets on June 19, 2025, expressing his views on various political figures and events.

In a tweet posted at 18:27 UTC, Gaetz expressed his support for Don Huffines by stating “The grassroots support Don Huffines!”

At 19:16 UTC on the same day, Gaetz simply tweeted “Epic” without providing further context or details regarding the subject of this comment.

Later, at 19:20 UTC, Gaetz commented on President Trump’s decision-making amidst tensions by tweeting “God Bless President Trump! The warmongers wanted strikes early this week. He is showing his wisdom.”

Born in Hollywood, Florida in 1982 and currently residing in Niceville, Gaetz graduated from Florida State University with a BS and earned a JD from the College of William & Mary. Before joining Congress in 2017 to replace Jeff Miller, he served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2010 to 2016.
