Former Congressman Matt Gaetz, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 1st District since 2017, shared a series of tweets reflecting on various topics. Known for his active presence on social media, Gaetz posted these messages over the course of two days.

On July 2, 2025, Gaetz encouraged his followers to “Go at the day like this squirrel” with a link to an image or video presumably illustrating a squirrel in action.

The following day, July 3, 2025, he cryptically stated that “This might not be the take you expect,” accompanied by a link, suggesting perhaps an unexpected viewpoint or opinion on a matter not specified in the tweet itself.

Later that same day, Gaetz emphasized something as “Very important ” with another link. The nature of this importance was left to interpretation based on the linked content.

Born in Hollywood, Florida in 1982 and residing in Niceville, Gaetz graduated from Florida State University and later earned a JD from the College of William & Mary. His political career began in the Florida House of Representatives before transitioning to Congress where he succeeded Jeff Miller.
