Former Congressman Matt Gaetz, who represented Florida’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress from 2017 and previously served in the Florida House of Representatives, posted several updates on his social media account in early March 2026.

On March 7, 2026, Gaetz shared a brief message: “Great to see! https://t.co/Qu1uk7v51e”. Later that day, he followed up with another post stating, “A wonderful alliance https://t.co/nc7o54VnIm”.

Two days later, on March 9, Gaetz promoted an episode of a show by posting: “The Anchormen Show EP 105 – Spy Games w/ Pearson Sharp & Mark Kiriakou https://t.co/XY3tnhj2TX”.

Gaetz was born in Hollywood, Florida in 1982 and resides in Niceville. He holds a BS from Florida State University and a JD from the College of William & Mary. He succeeded Jeff Miller as the representative for Florida’s 1st district in Congress after being elected in 2017.
