Former Congressman Matt Gaetz, who represented Florida’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, shared a series of brief posts on his social media account on October 14, 2025.

In his first post at 14:09 UTC, Gaetz wrote, “Great Team! https://t.co/kJ4YN6jdNj”. Five minutes later, he posted another message, ” https://t.co/S0ppKOPVSv” at 14:14 UTC. Later the same day, Gaetz commented on international affairs, stating, “If the Turks end up running Gaza, Curt Mills called it… https://t.co/ozTYZeUIo1” at 14:44 UTC.

Matt Gaetz has a history of public service. He served in the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 1st District since 2017, after replacing Jeff Miller, and previously held a seat in the Florida House of Representatives from 2010 to 2016. Born in Hollywood, Florida in 1982, Gaetz currently resides in Niceville. He is an alumnus of Florida State University, where he earned a BS in 2003, and holds a JD from the College of William & Mary, completed in 2007.
