Former Congressman Matt Gaetz, who has represented Florida’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress since 2017, posted a series of remarks on his social media account on May 4, 2026.

In a post published at 15:45 UTC, Gaetz commented on recent developments at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), stating, “The FCC under Chairman Carr is never tired of winning.”

Later that day, at 17:20 UTC, Gaetz shared another message referencing Central America: “El Salvador Rising!”

At 17:32 UTC, he added a third post with a brief assessment: “Inspiring!”

Matt Gaetz has served as the representative for Florida’s 1st District in Congress since succeeding Jeff Miller in 2017. Prior to his tenure in Congress, he was a member of the Florida House of Representatives from 2010 to 2016. Born in Hollywood, Florida in 1982 and currently residing in Niceville, Gaetz holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University and a Juris Doctor from the College of William & Mary.
