Matt Gaetz has represented Florida’s 1st congressional district in the U.S. Congress since 2017, after succeeding Jeff Miller. He previously served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2010 to 2016. Born in Hollywood, Florida in 1982, Gaetz currently resides in Niceville. He graduated from Florida State University with a BS in 2003 and later earned a JD from the College of William & Mary in 2007.
