Matt Gaetz began serving as a U.S. Representative for Florida’s 1st District in 2017 after previously holding office in the Florida House of Representatives from 2010 to 2016. He was born in Hollywood, Florida in 1982 and resides in Niceville. Gaetz holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University and a Juris Doctor from the College of William & Mary.
