Former Congressman Matt Gaetz, who has represented Florida’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress since 2017, posted a series of comments on his social media account on September 15 and 16, 2025.
On September 15, Gaetz shared a brief endorsement: “Love this https://t.co/PANHC92Bou”. Later that same day, he posted another message: “Fire her https://t.co/5pX6ArAz9P”.
The following day, on September 16, Gaetz offered praise in another post: “Great work. https://t.co/yr7ccHM0kU”.
Matt Gaetz has served as a member of the U.S. Congress for Florida’s 1st District since replacing Jeff Miller in 2017. Before his tenure in Congress, he was a member of the Florida House of Representatives from 2010 to 2016. Born in Hollywood, Florida in 1982 and currently residing in Niceville, Gaetz earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee in 2003 and a Juris Doctor from the College of William & Mary in 2007.
