Matt Gaetz began serving as a U.S. Representative for Florida’s 1st District in 2017 after replacing Jeff Miller. Before his tenure in Congress, Gaetz served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2010 to 2016. Born in Hollywood, Florida in 1982 and currently residing in Niceville, Gaetz holds a BS from Florida State University (2003) and a JD from the College of William & Mary (2007).
