Matt Gaetz has served as the representative for Florida’s 1st District since replacing Jeff Miller in 2017. Prior to his tenure in Congress, he was a member of the Florida House of Representatives from 2010 to 2016. Born in Hollywood, Florida in 1982 and currently residing in Niceville, Gaetz holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University and a Juris Doctor from the College of William & Mary.
