Former Congressman Matt Gaetz posted a series of tweets on August 30, 2025, expressing his opinions on political spending and infrastructure issues in California.

In his first tweet at 04:42 UTC, Gaetz wrote, “Full support https://t.co/nKWfPLtZOI”.

A few minutes later, at 04:45 UTC, he commented on alleged gerrymandering and California’s infrastructure challenges: “This man is spending $250 million to gerrymander congressional seats. Matt Gaetz has represented Florida’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress since 2017 after succeeding Jeff Miller. He previously served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2010 to 2016. Born in Hollywood, Florida in 1982, Gaetz resides in Niceville and holds degrees from Florida State University and the College of William & Mary.
