Former Congressman Matt Gaetz, who has represented Florida’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress since 2017, recently posted a series of tweets expressing his views on political topics and media appearances.

On August 23, 2025, Gaetz shared a brief message: ” https://t.co/tqcH554uxk”.

The following day, August 24, he posted about an upcoming television appearance: “Excited to watch David on the show!!! Get @OANN Live https://t.co/g3oC9oMKbr”.

On August 25, Gaetz commented on Bill Maher’s remarks regarding marijuana policy and former President Donald Trump: “Bill Maher gets it. Trump can win BIG by rescheduling marijuana! https://t.co/LXwdVNoITp”.

Matt Gaetz began serving in Congress in 2017 after replacing Jeff Miller and previously served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2010 to 2016. Born in Hollywood, Florida in 1982, Gaetz resides in Niceville. He graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree and later earned a Juris Doctor from the College of William & Mary.
