Former Congressman Matt Gaetz, who has represented Florida’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress since 2017, recently posted a series of messages on his social media account addressing marijuana policy and other topics.

Matt Gaetz has been an active political figure for over a decade. He began his legislative career in the Florida House of Representatives from 2010 to 2016 before being elected to Congress, where he succeeded Jeff Miller in representing Florida’s 1st district starting in 2017. Born in Hollywood, Florida in 1982 and currently residing in Niceville, Gaetz holds a BS from Florida State University (2003) and a JD from the College of William & Mary (2007).
