Former Congressman Matt Gaetz, who has represented Florida’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress since 2017, posted a series of tweets on August 27 and 28, 2025, discussing media partnerships and political commentary.

On August 27, Gaetz announced a new media partnership: “OAN to @YouTubeTV! We are so excited for this partnership and all of the great news we will bring to YouTubeTV subscribers.”

The following day, he compared two prominent news outlets: “OAN > Fox News ‘A lot of people are saying…'” (August 28).

Later that same day, Gaetz commented on political strategies related to voter outreach: “Democrats are this desperate to win back the black male vote “ (August 28).

Matt Gaetz has served as a member of Congress for Florida’s 1st District since replacing Jeff Miller in 2017. Before his tenure in Congress, he was a member of the Florida House of Representatives from 2010 to 2016. Born in Hollywood, Florida in 1982, Gaetz currently resides in Niceville. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University and earned his Juris Doctor from the College of William & Mary.
